Festival of Cultures

This event is all about relationship and it is meant to provide an opportunity fo interact and connect with refugees. It is sponsored by Every Child is a GEM, supported by the American Church in Paris and the AAWE Communitywide Refugee Task Force.

The Festival of Cultures offers a unique opportunity to share a joyous moment of multi-cultural musical, gastronomical and artistic pleasures representing the countries of the participants in the event, including refugees from Association Pierre Claver.

There will be entertainment, food, storytelling, and lots of time to mingle and enjoy enriching cross-cultural exchanges.

Free for refugees, Suggested donation for participants: 22€; Students and under 18: 12 €; Sponsor a refugee: 12 €.

Saturday 18 March from 10h to 17h.

Friday at 20h15: Concert by the Chorale Huit de Choeur de Versailles et Chor'al Air Liquide de Paris with organ and instrumentalists, directed by Mata Zerbo.
Free admission

Saturday: Hot lunch from 12h

 

La Cause, a Protestant Foundation in Paris, will have their annual fund-raising sale again at the American Church. The sale supports the various departments of the foundation, including a listening and braille library for the visually impaired, support of orphans through both adoption and "parrainage", and "Solos-Duos" which helps alleviate solitude for those left totally on their own.

You will find antiques, toys, collectible post cards, food, books and much more. There will also be a tombola and a delicious lunch served on Saturday. Learn more about La Cause at www.lacause.org.
