The youth ministry at ACP exists to Love God and Others through the Grace of Christ.

Another way to look at it is this: Be. Love. Serve. Repeat.

We strive to be a community that promotes and values being:

Relational — We value real, honest, and sincere relationships: with God and one another.

Hospitable — Regardless of who you are, where you come from, where you are going, or how long you are staying, we hope you feel at home here.

Missional — We believe that God intends Christians to be a blessing to the world.

Christian — We are a Christ-centered community seeking to learn and grow each day to know and follow Jesus.

As an inter-denominational church, the American Church in Paris affirms ecumenism.  All are welcome!  We do not ascribe to one certain "type" or branch of Christianity, rather we serve as a home base for all our Christian brothers and sisters around the world.  An example of what "most" Christian churhces affirm can be seen in the Apostle's Creed... These are traditional credal statements, so this serves as a great basis for our beliefs.  These types of topics are things that can be expected to be taught or talked about in youth group.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

In believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
