This 30-voice choir from Cologne is one of the leading choirs in Europe! About the programPrevious performance video. Free entry with a free will offering

In response to global conditions, Kölner Kurrende is presenting a Jazz Peace Concert. This is a joint appeal for freedom and peace to all wars, featuring Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concert and Michael Villmow’s Da Pacem Domine. Ellington’s style and Villmow’s jazz improvisations will give hope for peace in our world when heard in the grand space of the American Church of Paris.

The Kölner Kurrende are ambassadors for peace. In 2019, their acclaimed peace concert was presented in the USA (Kennedy Center) and in Germany (Cologne Philharmonic) with the European Chamber Choir and George Mason University Singers.  Now in 2024, French artists Alexia Rabé and her jazz group will join as featured artists along with the American Church of Paris choir to complete the union of German-French-American unity for peace.
