The Living Truth Foundation Ministry (TLTF) is a non-governmental organization in Ghana, Africa, that spreads the Word of God and provides for others’ needs in prisons, schools and hospitals. This ministry was founded by ACP missionary Anna Cobbinah and her late husband Francis. Francis had been a member of the ACP when he felt God’s call to return to his native country of Ghana to share the Gospel.
Since its founding in 2003, TLTF has been growing and reaching many people. The prison ministry began with just one prison and now serves prisons across the entire southern region of Ghana, including the Maximum Security Prison. Local schools in and around the town of Elmina are served, and the hospital ministry reaches those at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
Regarding the prisons, Anna and her team preach weekly and conduct in-depth Bible study classes throughout the year. Annual graduation ceremonies are held for the prisoners who complete the classes, and Anna cooks meals and distributes soap several times a year.
The school ministry helps provide spiritual guidance for the children. Anna meets with the children weekly and preaches periodically throughout the school year. Due to the poverty of most of the families, TLTF also provides the children with donations of used clothing and books.
And in the hospital, TLTF members preach and lead singing several times a week, encouraging patients and their families, offering them hope as they share the good news of the Gospel.
ACP continues to support TLTF not only through our missionary Anna but also via prayers, letters, periodic donations and visits. If you feel called to help, there are lots of ways to do so. First, please pray for a continued outpouring of God’s Spirit in Ghana! The school ministry always needs clothing and books; you could organize a donation drive to send things over. The prison ministry can always use funding for its Bible studies, food and soap; any financial donations will be put to good use.
